Under the Recent area, there is a list of the most Recent Workbooks used among with the Name, the Location and the Date Modified.

In the image below we can see all the Recent Workbooks that we have used in the past. We also have a Search Area where we can type in the Name of the Workbook that we are looking for. We are welcomed with a greeting and right below there are some Templates available to use if needed. The Pinned Items List is like a collection of shortcuts of Files that we use more frequently. We also have the Pinned Items List, where we can pin Documents, Workbooks or Presentations so we can have quick access to those Files. Recent items display the last few Documents, Workbooks or Presentations we opened in the program, so we can use those links quickly to access the Files.
